Jemma has been a professional presenter and writer for over twenty years.
In 1997 she won a presenting contract at the Disney Channel where she ended up staying for five years. During her time here she clocked up hours and hours of live studio experience, interviewed everyone from Britney Spears to David Beckham and hosted the Kids Awards at London Arena in front of 12,000 people. Disney sometimes ‘let Jemma out’ for other projects including three series of Bafta winning series Sub Zero, a live children’s game show on BBC2 and It’s a Girl Thing on C4.
After leaving Disney, Jemma presented ‘Wedding Day’ and property show ‘House Price Challenge’ for ITV and the live National Lottery show ‘Come and Have a Go’ with Julian Clary on BBC1.
Jemma is also a novelist and to date has had four books published, two for Penguin and two for Harlequin.
Me and Miss M is about working as a PA for a difficult actress (inspired from experience…)
From London with Love is about the daughter of an actor who played James Bond and an actress who played Bond girl, Heavenly Melons. It explores what it would be like to grow up in the shadow of your parents’ fame.
If You’re Not the One is about Jennifer, a woman having a mid-life crisis who finds out what life would have been like if she’d stayed with three men from her past.
This book was optioned by Working Title Films.
When I Met You is about familial love, a dysfunctional family becoming functional, father/daughter relationship and death. Jemma has had the rights reverted and will re release under a different title.

Jemma has done loads of commercials in the past – a panto (she played Jack in Jack and The Beanstalk) and as a child was in the West End musical Evita.
Coaching – from time to time Jemma works as a coach/ teacher for Inner Drive, a company who go into schools and teach workshops on Performing Under Pressure, Mastery Mindset, Sleep etc. All this knowledge and training has been very useful for her own parenting and has given her a broader understanding of the pressures felt by kids these days.
Jemma is passionate about helping others get the best out of life so enjoys coaching. She applies similar techniques when training business people in communicating on camera. She has her own coaching business, Forte James and specialises in one on one’s helping people develop their confidence on camera, a necessary skill in business today.
Credits from the last few years. Jemma has represented luxury, global brand, Molton Brown on QVC for the last five years or so.
She presented The Short Film Show on Sky and was a regular panellist on Channel 5’s popular current affairs show The Wright Stuff.
She hosted Not the One Show on London Live and hosted two awards shows – The Short Film Show Awards 2018 and The Mills and Boon Romance Awards.
She is a regular panellist on Jeremy Vine on C5 and often guests on Talk Radio with Matthew Wright and James Whale. Recently she has done her first spots on GMB and Sunday Morning Live
Family and Children – Jemma lives with her two children, Lily (nearly 15) and Freddie (13). She shares their care with ex husband Charlie.
Jemma is half Italian and has four siblings so it’s a big family. Her parents are divorced and her mum lives in Italy with her second Italian husband!
Her children love watching and playing sport and both support Leicester City football. They love going to the movies.
Interests and Passions – Jemma loves keeping fit so when she has time she does yoga, Pilates, Spin or Blitz. She loves music, film, reading (about a book every two weeks) her children, her friends, her nephews and all her family, watching good TV dramas, art, photography and decorating (she loves choosing paint colours and wallpaper…) She is a good home cook and great food is a passion too. She lives for holidays! She spends far too much on clothes, blowdrys, lattes and Pret.
